JYC Sailing Education

Jackson Yacht Club is committed to introducing people of all ages to the sport of sailing, and helping experienced sailors advance their skills.

Our club has a developing fleet of numerous Sunfish, an Oday Widgeon, a Catalina 22, a Helms 25 and a Flying Scot available for qualified member's use. To become qualified, you must first show the ability to rig, sail, right and de-rig the boat in which you wish to qualify on.  Once qualified, you reserve the boat of your choice on a daily basis.

We offer a family oriented atmosphere with several programs and social activities such as an competition sized swimming pool and adult and youth sailing, including a  2018 YOUTH SAILING CAMP.
