JYC Sailing Education
Jackson Yacht Club is committed to introducing people of all ages to the sport of sailing, and helping experienced sailors advance their skills.
Our club has a developing fleet of numerous Sunfish, an Oday Widgeon, a Catalina 22, a Helms 25 and a Flying Scot available for qualified member's use. To become qualified, you must first show the ability to rig, sail, right and de-rig the boat in which you wish to qualify on. Click here for more information. Once qualified, you reserve the boat of your choice on a daily basis.

Jackson Yacht Club is proud to offer six youth sailing sessions during the summer months during the weekdays of Monday through Friday and 9:00AM - 5:00PM.

Your fees will entitle the student to skilled on the water instruction, a commemorative T-shirt, lunch and an end of session party and trophies.

Sailors supplying their own Sunfish will receive a discount of $50.00 per session.

Youth Sailing Camp is filling up FAST!
If you know a child (8 years and above) who is interested in learning how to sail, call the office today! There are 6 sessions running this summer in the months of June and July.

Adult Sailing course fees -
Adult Sailing Classes are: $75. Any nonmember can be sponsored by a JYC member in good standing @ $100. Any Charges incurred will be charged to the JYC member sponsor unless payment is made by the sponsored nonmember. In the event a registered student cannot attend, the fee will be refunded if cancelled within seven days before the first session. There will be no prorating fee if you are unable to attend all sessions.
Your fees will entitle the student to skilled on the water and classroom instruction, all written course materials and lunch.
